Accommodation at Brooklinn Mill
Brooklinn Mill is a converted jute mill a mile from the busy little Perthshire town of Blairgowrie. It is superbly located on the banks of the River Ericht and Lornty Burn with two acres of wooded grounds. The woods and river are home to a variety of wildlife including red squirrels, roe deer, otters, dippers, goosander, and kingfisher.
The mill buildings have been converted into three homes, one of which is available to rent for short breaks and longer holidays.
The Jute Store would ideally suit families or groups, although the proximity to fast-flowing open water means that children require supervision.

We want your stay at Brooklinn Mill to be relaxing and comfortable so have equipped The Jute Store to provide a real home from home helping you to make the most of your holiday or short break. There is a well equipped kitchen, as we firmly believe cooking on holiday should be fun rather than a chore. There are plenty of books, DVDs and games for a quiet afternoon in or the odd wet day. The living room has a wood-burning stove which is perfect for chilly evenings. And we make our beds with crisp cotton sheets and cosy feather duvets.
A cot and highchair can be provided by arrangement. We don't supply cot-linen as guests usually prefer to bring their own.
As we also live at Brooklinn Mill we are able to welcome you when you arrive, show you round and to advise on local events and activities.
Dogs love the river and the woods - our own is usually to be found in one or the other. We are therefore pleased to accommodate one well behaved, house trained dog by arrangement. We charge £20 per dog and ask that they be kept off furniture and beds. Please see our terms and conditions for full details.
The house has access to a private outdoor area overlooking the rivers with garden furniture and barbecue.
The Jute Store is non-smoking accommodation.
